Forest Range Officers (18 Months) Induction Training Program :
The Induction Training programme includes the course with duration for a period of eighteen months and it shall be run in “Two phases” of approximately nine months each. The subjects to be covered in each phase shall be as follows:

During the training course in addition to class room lecture sessions, field visits, field work, special lectures by senior officers & subject experts, educational tours, practical sessions with focus on management and extension activities is also ensured. The trainees also take up project work on field level management challenges, which is first of its kind initiative in the country. They also have seminar presentation, weapon training, weekly feedback, etc to make the training more effective.
