:: Forest Range Officers Induction Training Programme (FRO ITP-18 Months) ::
The Telangana State Forest Academy (TGSFA) conducts the 18-Month Induction Training Programme for Forest Range Officers (FROs), adhering to the curriculum and guidelines prescribed by the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEF & CC), Government of India, New Delhi.
This training programme was initiated in October 2010–11, and since then, FROs from a wide range of States including Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, West Bengal, Uttar Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Gujarat, Jammu & Kashmir, Nagaland, and Meghalaya have successfully completed their Induction Training at the Academy.
Now one batch of (36) FROs from Assam State is undergoing training. To date, a total of (598) Trainees have been trained under this Programme.
