:: Forest Section Officers Induction Training Programme - 6 Months ::

v The Induction Training Programme for Forest Section Officers (FSOs) was initially designed with a duration of 12 months. The first batch of this year-long training programme commenced in the year 2000–01. 

v  The duration was subsequently reduced to 6 months as per G.O.Ms. No. 35, EFS&T (For-II) Department, dated 28.05.2019, issued under Rule 14 of the Telangana Forest Subordinate Services Training Rules, 2012 (originally notified via G.O. Ms. No. 76, EFS&T (For-II)Department, dated 19.12.2016).

The Revised Training Rule stipulates the following:

o   Forest Beat Officers (FBOs) and directly recruited FSOs shall undergo 6 months of Induction Training.

o   FSOs promoted from the category of FBOs, who have already completed 6 months Induction Training as FBOs, are required to undergo a 3-month Orientation Course.

o   This amendment was further communicated through the Principal Chief Conservator of Forests (HoFF), Telangana, vide Ref. No.3911/2016/EE-2, dated 12.06.2019.

 

v  The 1^st Batch 06 months induction course for Forest Section Officers (FSOs) was started during the year 2019-20.

v The (06) Months Induction Training Programme to Forest Section Officers was started during the 2018-19 and (04) batches were completed and (100) trainees were trained.

 

By conducting (22) batches of Induction training programs to Forest Section Officers, a total No. of (1090) trainees were trained.
